01The origin story
I started programming at twelve, when a ZX Spectrum turned curiosity into a lifelong habit. It woke up that day and, frankly, has refused to go back to sleep.
Several decades later, I still enjoy taking things apart to find the tiny assumption hiding underneath. Sometimes I even remember to put them back together.
02What I do
After 25 years in software and data, I have collected a healthy respect for systems that look simple from the outside and absolutely are not.
Much of my work lives in performance and troubleshooting: finding the bottleneck, the misleading metric or the exotic error that has everyone else wondering where to start. That is usually when I walk in and say: “Acaba usted de contratar al equipo A.”

03A proud member of the 5 a.m. club
Summer, winter, weekdays, weekends, holidays: five o’clock arrives and apparently so do I. It is one of the most productive moments of my day.
Is it discipline, a broken internal scheduler or the Spectrum getting revenge? The investigation remains open.
04Why these articles exist
Because technical work is full of good stories: elegant fixes, terrible guesses, mysterious NULLs and the occasional bug with impeccable comic timing.
The technical bits are real. The dramatic flourishes are free.
